The Code Compliance Department is responsible for enforcement of all construction codes and zoning regulations adopted by the City.

We review all construction and development plans and issue all construction related permits. The Code Compliance Department serves as staff for the Covington & Municipal-Regional Planning Commission, Historic Zoning Commission, Board of Property Maintenance Appeals and Board of Zoning Appeals. 

 

Changes are occasionally made to the Subdivision Regulations and Zoning Ordinances. Consequently, these codes may not reflect the most current version.  Please contact the Code Compliance office for any updates.
